Trash and Recycling Collections
Mr. McDuffie’s office contacted Ralph Bucksell to inquire about the status of the streets in our neighborhood. Ralph reported that the streets were all cleared but that the intersections all needed to be cleaned so that cars could safely turn into the intersections. The city trucks returned to our neighborhood and cleared most of the intersections. DPW said they hoped to have the streets cleared by midnight tonight (01/05/2022).
Ralph asked Mr. McDuffie’s office to check to see if trash and recycling would be collected this week. DPW said they hoped to make some collections this week but some areas will have to be delayed. So, if you have full trash and/or recycling bins, put them out and hope you might be one of those who is lucky enough to be covered. However, given the projected snow on Friday, we all might have to wait until next week.
