Saint Anselm’s Abbey

St Anselms Abbey 20140411The Washington Post recently reported that Saint Anselm’s Abbey ranked FIRST among 115 area high schools according to America’s Most Challenging High Schools. The ranking is based on a combination of Advanced Placement courses, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests, and the number of graduates each year. Saint Anselm’s Abbey, located at 4501 South Dakota Avenue NE, was founded in 1942 by the Benedictine monks of St. Anselm’s Abbey. The school includes grades 6-12 for boys and offers twenty-three advanced placement courses.
